Julie is the mother of Katie and Kristi who made an appearance in Paranormal Activity 3. She was also Lois' daughter and Dennis' girlfriend.
Julie had a fear towards Dennis' eagerness towards filming the demon, much like Katie's fear towards Micah's eagerness. At first, Julie refused to believe that the demon's presence was really there, and that it was just a figment of Kristi and Katie's imagination. After the demon took the furniture and smashed it onto the floor, Julie decided to take her family to her mother Lois' house, where she was killed.

- In Paranormal Activity 1, while Micah and Katie are talking with the psychic, Dr. Fredrichs, he mentions the spirit feeds off of negative energy. Micah makes a comment and says, "Well your mom shouldn't come over anymore in that case." Implying Julie is still alive visiting her daughter. However, in Paranormal Activity 3, Julie dies by Tobi throwing her down the stairs with Katie crying by her body. Therefore making Julie not able to ever visit Katie in San Diego.
- In Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension, it is explained that in the coven Katie and Kristi were brainwashed so that they would not remember Julie and call another woman "mother".
